Jefferson Police Remove Unruly Student Who Caused Lock Down At Middle School

The Greene County Middle School requested the assistance of the police department Thursday morning when a student became so disruptive it resulted in a school lock down. At approximately 9:18 a.m., an officer with the Jefferson Police Department responded to the school on East Harrison Street to remove the unruly male juvenile. He was taken to the Law Enforcement Center and later released to his father. The 11-year-old male has been charged with disorderly conduct.
