Jefferson Man Who Turns In Wife Ends Up Arrested Instead

The tables were turned on a Jefferson man Tuesday night when he called authorities on his wife and ended up being taken into custody instead. Twenty-nine-year-old Scott Cram called the Jefferson Police Department at approximately 7:25 p.m. to report his wife, who is barred from driving, had stolen his vehicle from 606 Washington Street. The officer later located Cram’s wife with a licensed driver who was operating the vehicle. Shortly after, at approximately 8:48 p.m., a traffic stop was performed in the 600 block of West State Street and Cram was arrested for operating while intoxicated first offense and careless driving.
