IowaWORKS is hosting a workshop for employers and employees next month to help address gossip in the workplace. The “Heard It Through the Grapevine” presentation, led by workplace advisor Amber Casebeer, will show businesses how gossip can hurt productivity and even feelings. The two-hour seminar explores why regular conversations turn towards rumors and how to stop it from taking place in your place of work. The discussion is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 26 in the Carroll IowaWORKS office at 619 N Carroll St. Space is limited to only 24 participants, and preregistration for the free event is required.
