Headliner Returns And Another Performer Gets Back To The Roots At The Next Manning C3 Concert

The upcoming Manning C3 (Christ, Community, Celebration) celebration will be a return visit to family roots for one performer as Amy Harris Linder, who leads the group Believe out of Sioux City, is on the program in the town her father, Gary Linder, was a vocal music instructor from 1965 to 1978. Now living in Akron, Amy and her husband Kevin operate a school of performing arts. Believe will be the opening act for the outdoor concert at the Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park on Sunday, June 4. The doors will open at 4 p.m. and the concert will get underway at 5:45 p.m. Headliner, Jenni Williamson, who is back for an encore performance, will be hitting the outdoor stage in the grove at 6:45 p.m. Williamson has sold nearly a million CDs in her 15-years in the Christian music industry, and she and her husband, producer Brian Williamson, are the creators of the “God is Great” children’s CDs. Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and join in the fun, beginning with a free dinner, served from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Zion Lutheran Church on Center Street.
