The Hawkeye Care Center of Carroll will be going by a new name beginning next month. Starting Nov. 1., the senior care provider will become known as Accura HealthCare of Carroll after Des Moines-based Accura HealthCare takes over a number of western Iowa facilities from Hawkeye. Community Relations Representative, Sherry Meyer, says residents will see almost no change going into November.
Meyers says, the only difference will be a new logo, new name tags and new signage. She notes current employees will not be impacted by the change either.
In a letter to residents and families, Accura HealthCare President and CEO, Ted LeNeave, writes, “Our quality and culture are built on a foundation of values: trust, integrity, accountability, commitment and kindness. We employ and train on these values.” Accura also acquired five other Hawkeye Care Center locations, including those in Bancroft, Cresco, Marshalltown, Milford and Spirit Lake.
