Senator Chuck Grassley was sworn in for his seventh term in Congress in Washington, D.C. yesterday morning by Vice President Joe Biden. In the 115th session of congress, Grassley will continue to serve on the Senate Judiciary, Finance, Agriculture and Budget committees and will likely retain his position as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Joni Ernst congratulated Grassley on being sworn in as she prepares for a year of serving on the Armed Services, Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, Small Business and Entrepreneurship and Environment and Public Works committees. The new year will also kick off Ernst’s third 99-county Iowa tour beginning this Saturday in Montgomery, Warren and Madison Counties.
