A charitable fund was started quietly about two years ago by the employees of St. Anthony Regional Hospital. Foundation Director, Trish Roberts, says that it was an idea born from what those care providers were seeing day-in and day-out at their facility.
Now, word has started to get out about the Friendship Fund, and many others are supporting their efforts.
Roberts says they are very proud to have such a phenomenal staff.
Roberts says they appreciate anyone’s support for any amount.
There will be a chance for everyone to participate in Carroll Broadcasting’s Spirit of Giving, with the money raised going directly into the Friendship Fund. On Monday, Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and again from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be live auctions for pairs of tickets for the July 4 and July 5 performances of the sold-out, award-winning Broadway production, “Hamilton.” All bidding will be taking place by phone at 712-792-9300. Those unable to participate in the live auctions can make donations to the Friendship Fund by using the contact points included here.
