The Exira Community Club is hosting a night of excitement this weekend to help raise funds for the Exira Recreation Center renovation project. On Saturday, March 11, Half-Masted, an improv group from Cedar Falls, will provide entertainment at the Exira Rec Center with an hour and a half long show full of humor. The night kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. with a pasta bar and dessert, catered by Mel’s Diner. Bidding on the auction ends and Half-Masted’s show begins at 7:30 p.m. Winning bidders will be announced at the shows conclusion at 9 p.m. All money raised goes to help update the rec center in Exira. Tickets are $30 each or $25 per ticket for two or more and can be purchased from Exira businesses or by email at exiracommunityclub@gmail.com
