Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) has recently added a new online planning tool, the Degree Works Planner, designed to help students more efficiently earn a degree. The tool will help save time and money by making sure students are only taking the courses necessary to achieve their goals. Degree Works Planner connects students, their advisor and their professors, allowing them to communicate in one simple application about a student’s educational plan. This resource is free for all DMACC students and includes a semester-by-semester plan for both full- and part-time students, giving them the ability to customize their education and to plan for graduation or transfer to a four-year school.
