Corridor Management Plan Completed For Lincoln Highway

The Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway has recently announced the completion of their Corridor Management Plan (CMP). This long-term plan for Iowa’s longest scenic or historic byway that stretches from Clinton to Council Bluffs and goes right through Carroll County, identifies future opportunities for communities. They will be able to help them highlight local attractions and develop ideas that will bring more travel through the Lincoln Highway towns. The plan will also be a key document when striving for national recognition of the byway. Coordinator, Jan Gammon says, “This project included conducting research, gaining public input and developing a plan that highlights the assets and opportunities along the Lincoln Highway in all of its Iowa communities.” A copy of the Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway Corridor Management Plan can be found by following the link below.
