Carroll Supervisors To Discuss Jail, County Farm Lease And Ambulance Director Job Search Monday

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors have a full slate of items on their agenda for Monday morning. The meeting will open with updates from Shannon Landauer, Executive Director of the Carroll Area Development Corporation (CADC) and Sheriff Ken Pingrey, who will lead a discussion on the work the jail committee has been conducting and the next steps in the exploration process. Sheriff Pingrey will also bring bids to the supervisors for the approval of a new vehicle purchase. A public hearing is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. for the letting of a box culvert project and Carroll County Engineer, Dave Paulson, will introduce some employee classification changes and utility permits. Tabled from previous meetings, the supervisors will bring back a discussion on the leasing of the county farm land and whether or not either parties will be letting the lease lapse or leaving it stand for another year. They will also be revisiting a conversation from last Monday on the steps necessary to search for a new director for the Carroll County Ambulance Service after the resignation of Pat Gray during that meeting. The supervisors’ meetings are open to the public and convene at 9 a.m. Monday mornings in the conference room at the Carroll County Courthouse.
