Carroll Public Library One Of The Locations Selected To Host IPTV Pajama Party

Iowa Public Television (IPTV) is introducing a new station devoted solely to children’s programming, and the Carroll Public Library has been selected to serve as a host site for one of the state’s four launch parties next week. Youth Librarian, Diane Tracy, is thrilled the library was chosen and invites families with children to attend.

Donaldson’s most famous works include “The Gruffalo,” “Room on the Broom” and “The Snail on the Whale,” and many of Donaldson’s stories have been turned into films. The theme for the event is a pajama party and Tracy encourages kids to get into their most comfy clothes when they attend.

There will be more than just a fun, movie-watching experience. Kids will have access to coloring books, milk and cookies and story time during the party. She says they will also be entertaining a few special guests.

The IPTV Pajama Party will take place at the library from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. and will be closed to the general public at that time. The library needs an estimated number of attendees before the party to ensure enough snacks and materials are on hand. Interested families can register for the event by following the contact points included with this story on our website.
