Carroll PD Receives Five More Reports Of Damaged Windows

The Carroll Police Department received five more reports of damage to windows over a 24-hour span last Thursday and Friday, Jan. 19 and 20. Four businesses reported broken windows, three are believed to be from a BB or pellet gun and the other was reported as coming from a thrown rock. Legendary Rye at 707 North Main Street, Rancho Grande at 323 North Main Street and Adams Repair at 304 North Adams Street all reported windows shot out. The window at the Farm Bureau building at 408 West 8th Street was believed to be damaged with a rock. The window of a 2000 Ford F150, belonging to Gerald Schreck, parked at 725 North Carroll Street, had a window shot out sometime between 3 p.m. on Thursday and 2 p.m. on Friday. The Carroll Police Department investigation into these incidences is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 792-3536.
