Carroll Man Accused Of Intending To Deliver Methamphetamine

A Carroll man faces felony drug charges lab results confirmed substances found in his possession were illegal narcotics. Thirty-eight year old David Alexander Schroeder, appeared for an initial hearing Thursday at the Carroll County Courthouse and was informed two different controlled substance violations, a class B and class D felony, have been filed against him. On April 16, officers from the Carroll Police Department seized over five grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, scales and a glass smoking device during a warranted search. Authorities believe he intended to sell at least some of the methamphetamine. If found guilty of the charges, Schroeder faces up to 30 years imprisonment
