Carroll County Public Health is searching for a new nurse after the recent resignation of Angela Huegerich, the Public Health Clinical Coordinator. Supervisor, Dean Schettler, who sits on the Carroll County Board of Health, discussed the turn of events.
The search for a new Public Health nurse is underway, and Schettler said with this new development, the restructuring of the Carroll County Public Health system has come up again.
Neil Bock asked about the expected timeline for filling the position, citing that there always seems to be a shortage of nursing in the healthcare field. Schettler validated that concern.
Schettler indicated that some special meetings will be held by the committee to address a direction to focus on for their next steps in covering these services.
