Carroll County Engineer, Dave Paulson, said the plans for a new county shed in Arcadia have been approved for the construction of a building similar to the one in Manning and they are ready to put it out for bids.
Changes to the plans include the removal of infrared heat, which Paulson says seems to be the least economical way to heat a shed.
Paulson said they are shooting for a completion date of Sept. 1. There is a shed currently at the site, but Paulson said they are hoping to be able to keep that one in place and alter the use.
The bid letting for the Arcadia shed will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21.
