Carroll County Conservation Summer Camp Registration Opens March 23

The Carroll County Conservation has announced the opening date of summer camp registration. Thursday, March 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Conservation Education Center at Swan Lake will be the first opportunity for residents to register their children for the available camps. Camps for three and four-year-old will be held for two hours on June 6, 7, 8, and 9 and requires a parent or guardian to attend with the camper. Cost is $15 for the first session and $8 for each additional camp. Kindergarteners have two options for three day camps from June 13 to 15 and June 20 to 22 and costs $30 per child. First through third graders have six-hour sessions available from July 25 to 28 and August 1 to 4. Forty dollars is the fee associated for this camp. On July 6 and 7 or July 11 and 12, fourth and fifth graders can register for an overnight camping trip for only $45 dollars. The oldest group of campers, sixth and seventh graders, will spend two nights camping out at Whiterock Conservancy from June 27 to 29. All snacks and meals will be provided for this camp at a cost of $60. All camps have a limited number of space, and registration must be completed in person.
