Carroll Chamber Of Commerce Hosting Carroll Candidate Forum Oct. 11

The Carroll Chamber of Commerce will be giving Carroll residents a chance to meet the city candidates at a forum on Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the Gene Vincent Auditorium at Carroll High School. The forum will get underway at 7 p.m. and feature uncontested candidates: Dr. Eric Jensen, who is running for his second term as mayor; at-large incumbent, Jerry Fleshner; and ward one incumbent, Mike Kots. Candidates for the sole Carroll contested race for ward three, incumbent Clay Haley and newcomer Jean Ludwig, will also be on the panel. All of these candidates will be given an allotted amount of time to answer questions pre-written by the Chamber as well as those from audience members and individuals who submit them prior to the forum or text them in during the event. The candidate forum is open to the public and will also be broadcast live on 1380 KCIM. Details on how to submit questions for the candidates can be found below. The city elections will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7. The Carroll County Auditor is expecting the absentee ballots to come in by the end of this week, with voting beginning shortly after.
