The Carroll Area I-Club will be hosting a bus trip to the Iowa/Illinois men’s basketball game on Sunday, Feb. 18. The bus will leave Carroll at approximately 6:15 a.m. that morning and will pick up passengers in Dedham and Coon Rapids, arriving at the Coral Ridge Mall in Iowa City at 10:30 a.m. for pre-game shopping and lunch. On the return trip, they will make a stop at Prairie Meadows at around 4:30 p.m., arriving back in Carroll between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Cost is $110 for adults and $85 for children high school age and younger. This includes transportation, a ticket into the game at Carver Hawkeye Arena, Triple Crown Prime Rib dinner buffet at Prairie Meadows Casino in Des Moines and juice, coffee, water and rolls during the morning ride. Space is limited to 54 people and reservations will be taken on a first-come first-served basis. Registration can be made to Bill Wenger or Jeff Cayler by using the contact points included below. Checks must accompany the registration, but will not be cashed before the trip. No refunds will be issued unless the bus is full.
