The Black Hawk Lake Protective Association is busy preparing for their annual fundraising social to be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Ryan’s Bar and Grill in Lake View. They are not only selling tickets to the event, but they are also looking for volunteers to donate goods or time. The association is selling t-shirts emblazoned with the theme of “live, love, lake” for $15 each. Tickets are sold in pairs for $25, and include two drinks (valued at $2.50 each) and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will be learning how the association works to promote the lake and there will be updates on the dredging and other topics of interest.
