Authorities Try To Beat Bad Weather In Sixth Day Of Search For Missing Denison Teen

Now entering day six, Crawford County authorities say the search for a Denison teenage girl missing since the car she was a passenger in went into the Boyer River last Thursday morning continued this morning (Tuesday). Over the weekend, hundreds of law enforcement and emergency agencies and volunteers searched the water and banks of the Boyer River at the accident scene north of Denison and miles further south to no avail. Family and friends of the missing teen have been gathering at the command post set up at the Crawford County Fairgrounds awaiting closure to this nearly week-long ordeal. Carroll Broadcasting has reached out to Crawford County Sheriff, Jim Steinkuehler, for an update. He and other authorities are all busy continuing the search in anticipation of the upcoming winter weather warning. We will bring you more information on the search efforts as details become available.
