A familiar face is joining the Audubon Police Department with the addition of a new officer to the force. Earlier this week, the city council unanimously approved the hiring of Brian Juelsgaard. Juelsgaard has eight years of law enforcement experience as a deputy with the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office and worked as a part-time police officer at the police department during those years. He starts his first rotation as a full-time officer with the Audubon Police Department on Sunday, July 2.
