Golf season is here and the Audubon Golf and Country Club is hosting a night of music to celebrate the occasion with the fourth year of “Music Blasts”. Tomorrow (Friday), a local group, the First Name Band, will be performing on the relatively new club house deck at 520 Division Street from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m for the first of two summer concerts. The group consists of two local musicians from Exira, Lucas Petersen and Blake Asberry. The country and classic rock show is open to the public at no charge, and refreshments will be available for purchase. The forecast for the evening has temperatures in the mid-60s with little chance of rain. The country club will host another Music Blast on July 14 with musicians to be determined.
