The Audubon and Sac County Sheriff’s Offices are working to notify individuals that had their permit to carry and permit to acquire issued in these counties during the second half of the year that they are now able to get the state-issued cards. If you were issued a permit in Audubon or Sac County between July 1 through Dec. 6, you can bring the county-issued card to the Sheriff’s Office and exchange it for the state-issued one.
