Audubon County Memorial Hospitals and Clinics is hosting a health and wellness fair this weekend. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, more than a dozen organizations will be at the Audubon High School with free health-related information and activities for all ages. New Opportunities, the Audubon Fire Department, Audubon County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit, Midwest Medical Transport and many more will be there to share more information about their role in public health. Carroll Hy-Vee Dietitian, Julie Opp, will be hosting a seminar on how eating better leads to better health. Salem Lutheran Homes and Rehabilitation Center will be onsite performing fall risk analysis for seniors. Attendees will be treated to a free lunch from Subway from noon to 1 p.m while supplies last. Audubon County Memorial Hospitals encourages the public to attend. There is no need to register for the event.
