The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in an ongoing investigation. Sheriff Todd Johnson and the Audubon County Crime Stoppers are seeking information about a July theft on Bluebird Ave. between Manning and Kimballton. The perpetrator(s) stole a trailer, welder, scrap metal and numerous other tools valued at over $12,000. A reward is being offered, and anyone with information about the theft, or who may have seen suspicious activity during that timeframe, is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 712-563-2631 or the Audubon County Crime Stoppers at 712-563-2234.
