Area Students Bring Home 14 Awards From Twin Lakes Conference Art Show

The 2017 Twin Lakes Conference Art Show was held at Iowa Central Community College on Tuesday, March 21, and area students came home with 14 of the 41 awards presented at the close of the show. Two students won multiple awards, with Gabbie Herzberg of Manson-Northwest Webster earning three top spots for her painting titled “Metal Dimension.” She won first place in the acrylic painting category, took third place in Student’s Choice and was presented Best Artwork of Show recognition. Rachel Conderino of East Sac County took home two prizes for a painting titled “City of Color with a first place finish in the non-acrylic painting category and was named Best 2D Artwork of Show. Honorable Mention: Lauren Harris, Manson-NW Webster-Strip Hall; Tiffany Espe, Manson-NW Webster-Cans; and Maddie Neal, South Central Calhoun-The Idea of Fish

Student’s Choice Award: Second Place-Steph Hulgan, Manson-NW Webster-Cosmic Connections
