Alliant Energy is offering 25, $1,000 scholarships to customers of Alliant Energy or Interstate Power and Light. Applications are now open for the 2017 Innovation Scholarships for customers or their dependent children who are 24 years old or younger. Selection will be based on their participation in a leadership role in the community, service-related activities and volunteer work, academic grade point average, standardized testing scores and the content of a 300-word essay about an innovative idea to solve a problem within their community using science, technology, engineering and/or math.
