The five suspects in the May 12th death of 16-year-old Sabrina Ray of Perry will now have all of their trials held the same date. Originally, the adoptive parents, Marc and Misty Ray, as well as the adoptive brother, Justin Ray, along with the grandmother and cousin, Carla and Josie Bousman, were all scheduled to have different trial dates spread throughout the fall. The courts have now unified these cases for all to take place on Oct. 30. This past Friday, Carla Bousman requested the courts release her from custody for medical reasons. That request, however, was denied. The courts have stated she will receive the necessary care from the Dallas County jail’s medical services provider. All five parties are facing different charges for their involvement in the circumstances leading to the death of Sabrina, whose autopsy revealed she weighed only 56 pounds and had suffered abuse that prevented her from being able to eat or even walk prior to her death. A full listing of all of their charges can be found with this story on our website.
