Greene County Sheriff, Jack Williams, has reported that the 911 emergency services are down for all of the county, with the exception of Jefferson. While Jefferson residents and businesses can still make emergency calls through their 911 system, all other county emergency calls go to 515-386-2136 until the system is restored. The cause of the outage remains, as of yet, undetermined.
