Two people had to be extracted from their vehicle after a rollover accident on County Road M66 north of Manning Friday afternoon at approximately 3:11 p.m. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to find 53-year-old Scott Allen Wright of Westside had been southbound in a 1996 Ford Explorer, about a quarter mile south of the 270th Street intersection, when he lost control of the vehicle and swerved into the east ditch. The vehicle rolled, coming to rest on the driver’s side. Wright and his passenger, 52-year-old Sherry Lynn Wright of Coon Rapids, were both transported to Manning Regional Healthcare Center by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services for treatment of minor injuries. The Explorer was considered a total loss.
