On Tuesday afternoon, Hillary for Iowa unveiled a new Small Business Advisory Council that includes two local business owners. Dr. Steven Kraus, the Chairman, President and Founder of Biokinemetrics, Inc. of Carroll and Dawn Sturm, owner of Dawn’s Beauty Shop in Manilla will assist Clinton with her three-step plan to aid small businesses through streamlined regulation, tax relief and simplification and expansion in markets. Organizers say her plan is designed to make life easier for the 264,000 small businesses in Iowa by allowing them to cut through red tape, get access to loans and reduce paperwork. Biokinemetrics, Inc. assists Doctors of Chiropractic with the implementation of a variety of different technologies, from x-rays and therapeutic applications to office management through the use of software and hardware aimed at better delivery of care for better patient outcomes and best-practices for profitability. Dawn’s Beauty Shop has been a staple service industry in Manilla since 1980.
