At the Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting this morning (Monday), Carroll County Sheriff Ken Pingrey reported that the Civil Service Commission had created two new Lieutenant positions to spread out the workload that was previously conducted by the Chief Deputy.
Pingrey added that the creation of two positions will allow the two Lieutenants to remain active in current and future investigations.
Lieutenant Cretsinger says that he and Fransen will take the lead in different areas.
And Lieutenant Fransen adds that though they have different areas of oversight, they will collaborate as well.
The promotions of Cretsinger and Fransen were effective Tuesday, April 5.
