Trophies Plus Breaks Ground in New Breda Location

The city of Breda and Trophies Plus hosted a ground breaking ceremony on Friday afternoon to kick off the construction of a new 15,000 square foot facility will feature a two story office portion and an open warehouse that will allow Trophies Plus to store all their inventory in one building.  Trophies Plus owner Jim Jensen tells Carroll Broadcasting this ground breaking comes after a lot of work has been put into the planning of the move.

Construction of the new building should be complete by the end of the year and Jensen says the move from Templeton to Breda won’t be much of a transition for current employees of Trophies Plus.

Jensen says Trophies Plus has a national distribution area as they make all the awards for the Iowa Games, the Nebraska Cornhusker Games along with 6-7 other states, all the state championship trophies for the Minnesota state high school league as well as the New York public schools athletic league which is the biggest public school system in the country and many AAU leagues.  Trophies Plus started in 1984 under ownership of Doyle Engelan, who still works for Jensen and has been in operation in many sites over the years but soon will call Breda its home.
