On Friday evening at approximately 7:27 p.m., the Greene County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Casey’s General Store in Grand Junction to help determine the identity of a three-year-old child. The child had wandered alone into the gas station that sits along Highway 30. Authorities were able to determine the child’s identity along with that of the parents. They were notified that the Department of Human Services would be contacted about the incident.
