Three teenagers escaped injury after a single-vehicle accident on Monday, Dec. 26. At approximately 8:44 p.m., a Carroll County deputy responded to the scene of the accident about one-half mile east of Delta Avenue on 180th Street. A 2006 Toyota Sequoia, driven by 16-year-old Bailee Jennifer Irlbeck of Arcadia was travelling eastbound on 180th when she lost control of the vehicle and went into the south ditch. The SUV rolled once and landed on its wheels. Irlbeck and her passengers, 15-year-olds Sarah Patricia Healy of Lake View and Regan Marie Gerkin of Breda, reported no injuries, were absent from the scene when deputies arrived and were transported away by private vehicle. Damage to the Irlbeck vehicle is estimated at $8,000.
