One passenger was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital following a single-vehicle rollover accident on Friday northwest of Coon Rapids. At approximately 9:45 p.m., the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reported to Stagecoach Road near the intersection with Velvet Ave. to find a 1993 Buick Regal overturned in the north ditch. The driver, 15-year-old Tristan Wayne Wiles of Coon Rapids was reportedly driving in an erratic manner, which caused him to lose control, rotating the car clockwise and entering the ditch before rolling. Sixteen-year-old Megan Lynn Schieffer of Carroll was transported to St. Anthony by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services and another passenger, 14-year-old Jacob D. Reiling of Coon Rapids, was transported to Guthrie County Hospital by his parents. Wiles complained of possible injuries and was transported for treatment by another party. Wiles was charged with failure to maintain control and violation of instruction permit limitation. Schieffer was cited for allowing unauthorized minor to drive. There was an estimated $3,500 damages to the Buick.
