Last week, Carroll County Supervisor, Mark Beardmore, announced he would not be seeking a third term in this year’s November election. Since the announcement, it has become clear to him through comments made by the constituency that there is some misunderstanding as to exactly when he will be leaving his seat at the table.
Beardmore said he will be working just as hard on the issues facing the board now as he has in the past.
Beardmore said he is stepping down at this time as he is a strong proponent of term limits for elected officials and that he wants to refocus his time towards his business, spiritual and family life.
