St. Anthony Regional Hospital is pleased to announce another new addition to their team, Teri Davis, as Director of Behavioral Health. Davis will oversee a team of in- and outpatient staff members and network with surrounding communities in her role as a clinical and outreach resource in serving the mental healthcare needs of patients in west central Iowa. Davis said it is her passion to serve the community of Carroll and in supporting the faith-based mission of St. Anthony and the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in helping individuals who suffer from mental health or substance abuse disorders. Davis has 35 years of nursing experience, primarily in behavioral health, and comes to St. Anthony from Mercy, where she was Director of Behavioral Health Services. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in psychiatric and mental health. She is a graduate of the Mercy Hospital of Nursing in Des Moines and is currently working to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, La. Davis has two grown sons and, in her spare time, enjoys traveling around the world to places like the Mediterranean, Rome, Barcelona and Paris.
