Sioux City Diocese Launches New Campaign For Catholic School Systems

The Catholic Diocese of Sioux City Schools has announced the launch of a new, mission-based campaign to help ensure each student is fully prepared for a life of faith, service and integrity. “Where Values Matter,” is the name of the new approach and it is aimed at reintroducing the core values and affordability of private education. There is an estimated $18 million in tuition assistance the Diocese will provide families of the children enrolled in the 16 Catholic school systems in northwest Iowa, including Kuemper Catholic Schools, for the upcoming 2016/17 school year. Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese, Dr. Dan Ryan, said on a national level, students who are enrolled in Diocesan schools score higher compared to their counterparts in public schools. He adds, “We believe this is because we have more rigorous educational standards challenging students to work harder and think critically.” For more information about tuition assistance opportunities available at Kuemper, call the administrative offices at 792-3313.
