Christmas season is here, and homeowners are decorating their properties with colors and sounds to celebrate the holidays. The Lake View Community Club is celebrating the season with the Holiday Tour of Homes this coming weekend. Five of the most festive homes were selected to be part of the tour. The event begins on Saturday, Dec. 3, with a luncheon at the United Church of Christ in Lake View from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Following the meal, attendees will be given a map and sent on a self-guided home tour. The properties will be open until 4 p.m. for visitors to appreciate the decorations. Tickets for the Tour of Homes can be purchased at downtown Lake View businesses and are $15 per person before Saturday, and $20 the day of the event. Money raised will be donated to the East Sac County School Child Assistance Fund.
