Just over a week remains before reservations for the Carroll County Conservation Minnesota Avian Adventure close. This will be the fifth year the group charters a bus to travel into the wilderness near Duluth, Minn. searching for scenic views and wild animals, primarily birds. Naturalist, Matt Wetrich, says the trip is near full already, and sign-up need to be in before the final spots are filled. The cost for a shared hotel room is $425 per person or $640 for a single person room. The trip lasts from Friday, Jan. 13, to Monday, Jan. 16, and includes three nights in hotel, all but four meals and guides for the trip.
