Tomorrow (Saturday) is national Prescription Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there are approved collection sites across Iowa that will be accepting and disposing of these medications. The Audubon Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office have set up collection sites for area residents at their offices in Audubon and Jefferson. Information on other local drug disposal sites for Saturday’s take back day is available through the contact points included below. Everyone is encouraged to check back as sites are frequently being added.
