With the calendar turning to June, things are going to start moving fast toward the 20th edition of the Carroll County Relay For life, happening at the Carroll Athletic Field on Friday, June 24th. The first of two bank nights is coming up and Teams Chairperson Sarah Foley says this year’s relay will boast approximately 70 teams with room for more who want to participate.
The Relay for Life will begin at noon with the opening ceremony broadcast live on 1380 KCIM. As in years past there will be theme laps for teams, survivors ceremony and the luminaria lighting and the luminaria 5k fun run/walk. This years relay event will also feature some new things this year for all ages.
