One Incumbent Defeated In Greene County Local Elections

The Greene County ballots had six candidates competing for three different seats on the county board of supervisors. For District 1, Republican incumbent, Mick Burkett, beat out his Democratic opponent Alan Robinson 2,909 votes to 1,572. The same outcome was seen in the race for the District 4 seat, with Republican incumbent, John Muir, receiving 3,187 votes to the 1,369 cast for Democrat, Todd Madson. Incumbent Guy Richardson lost his District 5 seat to Republican Peter Bardole, who had 2,654 votes to Richardson’s 1,719. Richardson was running for the position from a petition nomination. Greene Republicans, Auditor Jane Heun, and Sheriff Jack Williams both ran unopposed and will remain in office. Huen received 3,891 votes and Williams tallied a total of 3,837 votes against 103 write-ins.
