Audubon Community Schools will be revamping their softball field this summer in order to bring the facility up to date. Prior to the start of the softball season Superintendent Brett Gibbs says the first order of business is to upgrade the field’s lights.
Four new light poles will be installed each outfitted with new Musco lighting systems. Then after the season is over officials will redo the entire infield and also install new fencing. Gibbs says the improvements will bring the facility up to date and create better playing conditions for the athletes.
