For the ninth year in a row, MidAmerican Energy has landed at the top of the J.D. Power rankings. The latest Cogent Report survey of residential utility customers ranked MidAmerican as the nation’s Most Trusted Brand among 137 combination electric-natural gas utilities (Most Trusted Brand 2016). Results of the J.D. Power Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study are based on responses from a total of 101,138 online interviews conducted between July of 2015 and May of 2016. MidAmerican’s score of 713 on the 1,000-point scale was well above the 680 average of all residential electric utilities rated.
