Throughout 24 counties, the Parishes of the Diocese of Sioux City will be celebrating the sacrament of reconciliation in honor of the Year of Mercy on Tuesday, March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. in The Light is On event. The Light is On initiative is a collaboration that began between the Archdiocese of Washington and the Diocese of Arlington, where all Catholic churches across the DC metropolitan area were open for quiet prayer and Confessions every Wednesday evening during Lent.
