The Iowa Soybean Association has announced they will be sponsoring some long-time favorite attractions at this year’s Iowa State Fair. In their quest to ensure that fairgoers have fun while also learning more about Iowa agriculture, the Ankeny-based association has partnered with the fair and other organizations to bring back the favorites and introduce new, must-see events. Everyone will be invited to take a free tram ride with biodiesel, take a break in the Ag Park, vote on their favorite sand sculpture, plant seeds, recognize conservation leaders and enjoy storytelling, magic and juggling. In addition, fairgoers can experience a variety of soy-inspired foods at the fair as well as learn more about cooking with soy-based products. The Iowa state fair will get underway in just 21 (adjust accordingly) short days, running from Aug. 11 through Aug. 21.
