ISA Offers Career Building Experience To Local Students

Four Iowa students, including two from local school districts, have been recognized by the Iowa Soybean Association and will be participating in their new Soy Scholars program. Emily Campbell of Audubon High School and William Rupnow of East Sac High School will join Alison Donaghy of Dowling Catholic and Jamison TeSlaa of Boyden-Hull for a three-session career immersion experience. The students will prepare for influential careers in agriculture and receive field experience through a job shadow program offered with the support of Latham Hi-Tech Seeds. They will work directly with a mentor in their field of interest to gain hands-on experience, ask questions and make networking connections. The first session will be held Thursday, June 16, followed by a tour of Latham Seeds in July and a final session at the Iowa State Fair in August.
